Blogging can be used in the classroom for a lot of things. I think that treating the blog like a
journal would be a great place to start. It could also be used as a venue to share information or ideas. I think it would be fun to allow the students to come up with their own uses for blogging.
At the 1st grade level you will need to be a little more creative. Larger, more attractive fonts. And consider having kids tell you a story, then writing it on the blog as they speak. How fun for parents and others to read their stories out loud.
